Opposition to the CHPE transmission line to NYC

INNU NATION JOINS CENTER FOR BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY AND NAMRA IN THEIR OPPOSITION TO THE CHPE TRANSMISSION LINE TO NYC

On October 8, 2020, the Innu Nation of Labrador joined the North American Megadam Resistance Alliance and the US Center for Biological Diversity in filing a formal notice letter to the U.S. Department of Energy over its failure to fully address the environmental impacts of Champlain Hudson Power Express Project. This project would threaten endangered Atlantic Sturgeon Habitat and also threatens Indigenous communities and the environment in Canada. Click HERE to read the letter.
